I had to do one last baby belly photo with baby Hunter! Isn't he so small and cute? I could just bundle him back up in my belly :)
Bringing Hunter home was sooo much fun! Our first day home was the BEST. We loved being in our own home, wearing our own clothes. Not to mention enjoying him with out being poked or woken up through out the day! We ate what we wanted, snuggled, took tons of pictures, watched movies and partied. :) We completely exhausted ourselves - forgetting that we had a whole night to party with Hunter too (ha, ha). We never did that again, but it was fun that one time!
We have just loved getting to know Hunter. He is the sweetest boy ever. His cries are soft and he is
easily soothed. When he is awake he his so alert and has the brightest
eyes! He obviously looks like his Dad, but he has his Mama's toes and most likely my nose too. I admired his darling little ears for days and when my Mom came down I noticed they have the same little elf ears. So special those ears. He also has his Daddy's hands - they have the longest fingers. I call them his Edward Scissor hands, that is especially true when we forget to file them down. hee hee. He also can't keep them away from his face! He always sucking on his hands or sleeping with them right up against his face.
Bringing him home was also a total shock - We didn't know how to operate quite right, ha ha! I think the total shocker for me was, babies don't sleep in the crib? Hunter absolutely refuses to be put down - of course - he was bundled up and warm for 9 months of his whole life, why would he want to sleep alone in a cold bassinet?! So once we figured out that we have to coordinate sleeping, we were also getting sleep. Although, for the first week or so our eyes were always puffy and tired! It took some adjusting. Hunter does sleep well and has from day one. He gives us up to three to four hours at a time at night. So most nights I get two, four hour stretches right in a row! It has been a blessing to say the least.
The end of the third day home was a bit of a downer though. I started to spike a fever and Hunter had some pink discharge in his diapers. So after talking with the Group Health consulting nurse, we were told to go to the ER. Looking back, I am upset with myself and with Group Health for sending new, tired parents and a THREE day old infant to the ER. I don't know what I was thinking. There were at least three other toddlers there sick and hacking, along with grown adults not even courteous enough to cover their cough. We are so lucky Hunter did not catch anything!
Hunter was poked a bit and thank goodness the ER doctor found nothing wrong with him. I was tested for everything under the moon and they couldn't find what was triggering my fevers. I was sent home with a pat on the bum and 'you have a virus.' Eight hours in the ER to find out I have a virus and that Hunter is perfectly fine. (Later on, our Pediatrician told us that sometimes babies pass uric crystals in their urine and will discharge a bit of blood. No biggie. *sigh*)
Five hours after we got home from the ER, we headed back to the doctor for Hunter's new baby check up. (I don't remember ever being so tired in my life). Hunter weighed in at 7 pounds 1 oz - so he dropped a little under a pound in a few days. But boy did he make up for that later! This boy can eat. Hunter was, of course, just as perfect as ever - he had just a touch of jaundice, but it was gone by the next day.
My Mom came to stay with us all for a week and that made life so much easier! Plus, we had so much fun! That's a picture of her with all the 'Shellhart' grandkids. She even woke up at all hours of the night to give me or Brandon a break. So we slept and slept while my Mama was here. Not to mention the house was always clean and we had cooked meals for a week. Thank goodness for Moms!
On Valentines Day we all celebrated and went to Chuck E Cheese with Nana, Audrie, Matt and their kids. We had lots of fun! We went right when they opened - it was fabulous. We had the place all to ourselves and everything was so clean. Hunter got his first photo with his Auntie and Chucke. So precious.
One of our first family photos was at Chuck E Cheese, ha ha!
On Hunter's two week check up he weighted a whooping 9 pounds 4 oz! He gained two pounds in a week and a day! What a little chub chub. He was in the 90 percentile in every category, so we have a nice healthy breast fed babe. Proud Mama here! He also was circumcised on his two week check up too. Brandon stayed in the room, but I was out of there before I could hear all his sad little cries! That was torture for me. My poor sweet baby so distraught. Nursing hardly comforted him afterward, he eventually fell asleep from exhaustion! I am not sure I could go through that again. Maybe we'll have all girls from now on. :)
On Saturday the 16th, Nana went back home to Colorado. :( We miss her so much - especially Hunter! He had fun bouncy rides and sang songs with his Nana all the time. On her last day here, my Mom watched Hunter while Brandon and I snuck in a lunch date. Hunter did great! I will admit, I did miss my baby Hunter! ha ha.
My fevers lasted for about two weeks, so as much as I enjoyed my time with Hunter, I was miserable for a few hours of the day while I waited for my fevers to break. My temperature would range from 100.5 to 103.7 when they spiked, so I was hardly moving at times. I am so so happy I had my Mom and Brandon here full time while all that was being sorted out. So you could imagine my excitement when one of the midwives finally thought to put me on antibiotics! My fevers were gone by the next day! It wasn't a virus after all, a just bit of endometriosis. Some of the placenta didn't make it out all the way. Yay for smart doctors!

Introducing Mr. Hunter Jackson - The Birth Story
Quick Details: Hunter Jackson Shellhart was born at 4:44 a.m. on February 4th, 2013. He weighed 8 pounds 4 oz and measured 19.5 inches long.
My water broke around midnight. I labored 4 hours and then pushed for
45 minutes. Hunter was born drug-free, although an epidural was in the
plan - he just came too fast! And for those who had bets, Brandon shaved
his beard AFTER the baby came.
February 3rd was a wonderful day! I woke up and went to church at 9 am. I was feeling super uncomfortable sitting through sacrament, so I decided to head home after the first hour. I got home, crawled into bed and slept in until 1 that afternoon! It was wonderful. Then, in honor of Super Bowl Sunday, I was surrounded by the most delicious food and I ate like a queen all day. I even got a chance to skype my Dad to wish him a happy birthday. I am so grateful I ate so well and got a nice long nap. I think that really helped during the hard morning I had ahead.
I kept telling Audrie all night that I was having a TON of Braxton Hicks contractions, like almost one every 5 minutes. She kept asking me if they hurt at all and I would say "Nope! Just gets a little tight." They felt just like any other Braxton Hicks I have had, just more of them.
So that night, I write my 39 week update and as soon as I posted it ... I got up to use the bathroom and my water broke! 11:50 pm on Sunday February 3, I felt my first real contractions! Brandon was so excited!
After I confirmed my water had broke - I walk into the kitchen and complained that we hadn't even cleaned up the kitchen yet. (The weird things I worry about). As soon as Brandon heard that he was in the kitchen happily doing the dishes (he is still very excited the baby is coming) while I nervously talked on the phone with the Group Health Consulting Nurse.
I was told to just hang tight and that I was in early labor. The nurse contacted the midwife to let her know to be expecting me sometime the next day! She said to time my contractions and once they reach 5 minutes apart at 1 minute long for an hour to call back.
... So I did start timing my contractions - they were really intense already! After about 35 minutes I started getting really nervous! My contractions were never 5 minutes apart. They were consistently 3 minutes apart and about a minute long. I was so confused, so I called the nurse back to tell her my contractions were not 5 minutes apart ever. She asks "Is this your first?" Yes. "Just relax, your contractions will be irregular. Sometimes 7 minutes apart and sometimes 3 minutes apart. Just wait until they are consistent. You need your rest for tomorrow so head to bed and try to get some sleep." Ummm, I think she missed the part where I said my contractions were 3 minutes apart. And sleep? Yeah right.
So being paranoid that I was just a nervous, wimpy, first time Mom, I went to the bedroom and tried to 'relax' on the bed. Wow, I couldn't get comfortable anywhere I went! I couldn't move. I didn't want to leave the bed, but I didn't want to be on the bed either. Sometimes massage would help the back pain, but I felt pretty stuck and uncomfortable. And pretty soon nothing was helping.
Then I started getting really irritated with Brandon. (Poor guy). I wanted him to help me time my contractions, but I didn't want him to stop getting the house and everything ready either, ha ha! By 1:30 a.m. my contractions were 3 to 2 minutes apart and 1 1/2 up to 4 minutes long! At this point I was crying and I seriously couldn't get out of bed or move. All I could do was sit there and moan. Once again, I called the Nurse Consulting Service, but handed the phone over to Brandon this time. I tell him to talk to a different nurse, ha ha!
Once I get through my contraction I talk to the new nurse. She asks me the same thing "Is this your first?" I say yes. So she says "Sometimes contractions seem very intense to new Moms, but it is important to relax and take it easy in the first few hours." A contraction comes along and I hand the phone to Brandon so I can moan a cry for a minute or so. I talk to the nurse again and she asks if I'd rather labor at the hospital or at home. I say I'd rather labor at home. Finally after I moan through another contraction she says "It's very rare, but sometimes new Mom's can have fast labors. So you should just go with your instincts. At the very least, the hospital can send you home."
I hang up the phone and Brandon gets moving! He grabs the little check list I made for him and he starts packing up the dog, chargers, my glasses etc ... He tries to feed me a granola bar (as instructed by the nurse), but I try to throw it up instead. Getting me to the car was absolutely impossible. I stopped two or three times just to hold onto Brandon and cry through a contraction. Laboring in our old little Corolla was awful - every bump hurt so bad and it was so hard to get comfortable during contractions.
Once we finally make it to the hospital and walk half way to Labor and Delivery, we realize it's 2:30 in the morning and the entrance is closed! So back to the car we go and head to the ER this time. After a pause for a contraction in the ER parking lot we were well on our way to Labor and Delivery. Thank goodness for hospital pre-registration and for the nice triage nurse who didn't want a baby delivered in the ER, so he escorted us personally to L&D.
We get to L&D and the nurse casually walks over, hands me a gown and a pee cup. Tells me to head to the bathroom to pee and change. Ugh! It was awful, I managed to pee in the tiny cup (and all over my hand) and somehow get the gown on in between contractions. I had a totally different scenario in my head on how that would all go down.
So I have my stupid gown on and I think finally they'll check to see how dilated I am ... Nope. The nurse casually sets me up on the monitor and starts a test to see if my water broke. So we wait .... I moan ... we wait .... I finally get a really strong contraction and I yell "I think I have to push! I don't know what that is supposed to feel like, but I think I need to push!" She stops dead in her tracks and she is like "Really?" Apparently if you aren't screaming and crying and yelling horrible things at everyone around you, you aren't in transition.
Finally! She checks my cervix annnnnd I am a 10 and ready to push. Go figure. The first thing I ask when she tells me this is "So that means no epidural?" ha ha! I was really looking forward to some relief! So the nurse tells me "If you made it this far, you are not going to need it!" I let the reality sink in that I need to be strong and endure this for just a bit longer. A drug free labor was what I really wanted in the end anyway - so I get to have my badge of honor after all!
So they wheel my bed into a room and like 5 nurses appear. I am then told I need to wait to push until the midwife can get there. Oh man was it hard to sit through hard contractions and not push. Brandon, of course, is amazing as ever and reminds me to breathe during my contractions. He puts a nice cold wash cloth on my face and lets me give him evil stares. He strokes my hair, tells me I am doing amazing, lots of kisses to the forehead. Everything a crazy laboring pregnant lady needs. Plus, Audrie finally arrives! There was a bit of a mix up on who was picking up my dog, but she got there in the knick of time! She took lots of fun birthday photos.
After about 45 minutes (it's about 4 in the morning by now) the midwife finally arrives. I remember the nurses lining up in the hall to clap and cheer for her! We were all pretty anxious to get going. Finally I get to start pushing!
It was a love/hate relationship. It took a lot of energy to push, but it felt good to get a little relief. Plus, pushing meant the contractions would go away and Hunter would be here soon! The nurses and Brandon were all so nice to me. Lots of 'you are doing great' and 'thanks for not yelling awful things at us' and 'you're almost there!' Apparently, I labored very quiet and I didn't complain much because everyone kept telling me they couldn't believe I was in active labor. They told me I was giggling and making jokes in between contractions. I don't know about that - during the contractions I felt like a was throwing a tantrum like a 5 year old. Labor makes you say and make noises you never knew you had in you. I pushed for about 45 minutes - thank goodness it felt like it happened quicker than that!
4:44 a.m. came all too fast! I loved the immediate relief I felt once Hunter was finally here! It was an amazing moment. Time does stop. All the pain was gone, Hunter was placed snugly on my tummy and I could finally relax. There is not a better feeling in the world then getting to hold a new, precious little child of God in your arms. I waited and dreamed and worried for 8 months about that darling boy and he couldn't have been more perfect! I loved to stroke his hair and just stare at his peaceful little face.
And of course Daddy got to cut the umbilical cord!
I was a little sad at how exhausted I was and I couldn't hold him in my arms for very long. I was freezing and had the shakes pretty bad. So I was relieved and disappointed when they whisked him away to the other side of the room to be weighed and tested. I was just too exhausted to be present. Later, I was so thankful for all of Audrie's photo's she took because I didn't get to watch him get is APAGAR score or to see him be weighed and measured. Plus, I got to see how Daddy was there the whole time to watch over little Hunter when I couldn't be there. He never left his side.
It was fun to guess the weight before they told us. I believe I said 7 1/2 pounds... He was a whopping 8 pounds 4 oz. I was almost a pound off, lol! I was the one who pushed him out, so apparently he didn't feel that big coming out.
Later that morning Brandon went home to shave off his beard he grew in honor of Hunter. He was pretty sad to see it go, but a deals a deal - right? :) There is always the next baby. Plus, I was in total shock to see him shaved. He lost about 30 pounds during my pregnancy so the extra hair off his face really slimmed him down. He is lookin really gooood!
So there you have it!
Hunter Jackson Shellhart was born at 4:44 a.m. on February 4th, 2013. He weighed 8 pounds 4 oz and measured 19.5 inches long. He also shares a birthday with his Grandma Debbie Shellhart.
Fun fact: When you reverse Hunter's birthday, 2/4 - it's 4/2... his Dads birthday! ha ha! It will be birthday hard to forget.

39 weeks & Feeling Like a Cheese Puff
I am 39 weeks!!! I can't believe that baby Hunter is coming any day now. :) For those who need details: I am 2 cm dilated, 50% effaced and Hunter has dropped. Not to mention I have lost my mucus plug and I had my membranes stripped. Plus, I have been having around four Braxton Hicks contractions an hour all week. So he is all set up to come when he is ready... He just needs to be ready soon! he he.
It was also fun to discover this last week that Hunter's busy times are when Brandon is home. ESPECIALLY right around midnight when Brandon gets home from working out. He goes crazy in there - he loves his daddy already. He is going to be a daddy's boy!
Brandon also put out a poll on his Facebook page to see if anyone could get the baby's ETA date right! If they do, they'll win a candy bar of there choice! What a nice guy. So far there are a lot of losers, bless their hearts for wishing I would be early. But there are a few that still might get February 4, 5, 7, 8, 10th or 14th right! wohoo! I am rooting for the 5th - right smack on the due date. That would be fun!
These last two weeks I just can't stop eating! I am so so so hungry all the time. I just love food! It kills me though because I am a big puff. I was telling Audrie today that once I was a Crunchy Cheeto and now I have turned into a Cheese Puff. I am reaaaallly feeling all that water weight and those few extra calories that I have packed on. My feet are puffy, my hands are puffy, I have kankles, my face is puffy .... And the best part is today was Super Bowl Sunday and there was a lot of really yummy food. Like I am talking nachos, cupcakes and pulled pork... No, not even my puffiness could stop me. he he!
Hunter better get out soon or I will be the Marshmallow Man!
Other than my puffiness and the fact that it feels like I am dragging a bowling bowl around, I doing good! I still have lots of energy and am still getting lots done. That part feels great, but don't get me wrong - I have been doing a lot of cat napping and resting too. :)
How far along? 39 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: + 43 pounds
Pregnancy symptoms: Braxton Hicks, intense food cravings, water weight all over
Sleep: Not so great, but I am not feeling tired in the mornings, so I am ok with that.
Best moment this week: Realizing that Hunter's busy times during the day are when Brandon is home.
Miss Anything? Being able to move and breathe. :)
Movement: Yes, but he just barely gets his 10 kicks in two hours. He has really slowed down.
Food cravings: Snackies, especially chocolate and chewy bars
Anything making you queasy or sick: the smell of bacon still
Have you started to show yet: My belly is in the ugly stage - but it is alll baby!
Happy or Moody most of the time: A little giggly, anxiety makes me a bit on edge though.
Looking forward to: Seeing Hunter - he'll be here in LESS than two weeks.
Stretch marks? Yup, all around my belly button and on my butt! ha ha.
Wedding rings on or off? OFF
Labor Signs: 2 cm dilated, 50% effaced. Baby has dropped and is head down. Braxton Hicks are about four an hour. :/
Belly Button in or out? Almost not even there it is so out.
Last Doctor Visit Update: Lynn stripped my membranes last week, but I am still about the same (2 cm 50%). This week the baby is behind my pelvic bone and dropped! Kathleen says this is pretty darn good for a first time Mom so I am ahead of the game. And I am negative for Group B (yay!)

It could be any day now - offically 37 weeks!!
Baby Hunter is allowed to arrive any day now!!! I am 37 weeks certified. I am juuuuuust about 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced. Although he is head down, he is still very high and hasn't dropped yet. (He was actually quite low a month ago when I was contracting, so he kind of slipped right back up again). It could still be another 5 weeks if he decides to be late, but lets not hope he wants to stay in THAT much longer. :) He is getting to be quite pesky in my belly and I think we are both feeling crowded. Not much room for EITHER of us to grow or to be wiggly!
I am still having pains in my left butt, but I have been diagnosed with the lovely sciatica every Mom seems to get! It can get quite painful, so some days I can hardly walk on it, but today is a good day! I am going to get some things done while I am pain free.
So happy we are loaded up on snacks and freezer items right now! We can hardly fit anything else in both freezers (or cupboards). I just did a giant batch of White Chicken Chili and made up some homemade pizza doughs too, along with a shipment of 20 pounds of yummy all natural Zaycon chicken strips coming on Saturday - so I think we will be ok for a few weeks! ha ha. I'm a planner, but lets see how far all this really gets us.
Plus, the nursery is pretty much done! I will have to post pictures here soon. Brandon has quite the collection of Cookie Monster stuff for his shelf now. Plus, I hung the Hunter name banner and cleared out some boxes. We also got some matchy bins for the storage unit and his Seahawks wall is just the cutest thing I ever did lay eyes on! But, the beloved alphabet wall will be a work in progress. It won't be done by the time Hunter is here, but I am ok with that! I am have a few letters done and friends have been so nice to donate some too!
I was in a really goofy mood while Brandon was taking belly pictures. This is how it usually goes before we actually get a decent picture! That last picture I dedicate to my niece Aurora, who does that 'smile' in every picture.

How far along? 37 weeksTotal weight gain/loss: + 40 pounds
Pregnancy symptoms: Sciatic nerve pain off and on
Sleep: I am sleeping better these days!
Best moment this week: Feeling ready for the baby. And getting lots of down time and rest with Brandon.
Miss Anything? Moving without sciatic or back pain. I used to be so active.
Movement: Still kicking like a maniac, but he actually has calmed down a bit. There is not much room for him to move in there!
Food cravings: CHOCOLATE anything, donuts, cereal and anything snackie.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Smell of bacon still!
Have you started to show yet: My belly is in the ugly stage - it is alll baby!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Buuttt, will definitely say what's on my mind.
Looking forward to: Baby Hunter being here! I will always have something I want to do, but we are ready!
Stretch marks? I have a few around my belly button and on my butt! ha ha.
Wedding rings on or off? OFF, but around my neck so ON! :)
Labor Signs: Just about 2 cm dilated, 50% effaced. Baby is head down, but still VERY high. I am having Braxton Hicks contractions at least once a day.
Belly Button in or out? Almost not even there it is so out - but you can still see it through my clothes.
Last Doctor Visit Update: Lynne says I am allll baby! She is hoping he will come a bit early since he is feeling big. (Oh geez). I was also tested for Group B this last visit - I haven't heard anything, so that's a good sign!

35 weeks - I still have lots I want to do!
And let me tell you - Hunter has been BUSY these last few days. I'll feel one of his legs kick out and my whole leg will spasm, lol. It hurts! He is my strong little fella. :) I have also noticed a few Braxton Hicks contractions. I don't feel them, but sometimes I feel my stomach and it's hard as a rock! It's pretty weird - I am getting a little nervous thinking about the real ones on the big b-day!
I've had a few pregnancy 'moments' too. I wrote this on Facebook the other night: "Pregnancy fail: Cracker in one hand and an SD card in the other... I may or may not have just tried to eat the SD card. heh heh - oops!" It almost happened, ha ha!
I also put ALL the baby clothes away! They are washed, hung, folded and snuggled safe in their spots. Plus, Brandon pretty much has his Cookie Monster shelf done. He is so proud of it. Isn't it the cutest? Maybe it just needs some more cookies on it... or maybe not. I might eat those too. But I am still feeling like there is still so much I want to do! The baby's room is completely functional now, so that's good. We have clean clothes and sheets, diapers, wipes... I just want to finish all that frilly mommy stuff . ;) - I really need to start cracking down on that alphabet wall and I need to put the rest of the misc. boxes in the room away.... Hang a few more shelves, put up my knobbies for cute clothes and hang curtains. Important right?
Oh and I was hobbling again! I did something to my left leg - maybe it's just my sciatic nerve or the muscles around my pelvic bone stretching out, but for a good two weeks, I could not walk on it well at all! I literally was walking like a penguin. It was pretty embarrassing. As long as I didn't aggravate it too much, I could get around all right to do basic tasks. I am feeling better today, but it was getting frustrating being house bound. But Brandon would be proud of me - I'll collect a bunch of 'things to do' and sit in my little spot so I can get stuff done with out straining myself too much.

Total weight gain/loss: + 38 pounds (ooops!)
Pregnancy symptoms: I have had some sciatic nerve pain.
Sleep: About the same: I have good and bad nights - I still have trouble breathing and turning off my brain at night. I just want to think about the baby!
Best moment this week: Spending some down time with Brandon and getting some nursery things done together.
Miss Anything? Putting on a seat belt and getting in and out of the car with ease.
Movement: He KICKS me so hard! ha ha - takes me a minute sometimes to catch my breath. Little monster.
Food cravings: Chocolate milk, chocolate, slurpee's, cereal, yogurt ... (see why I am gaining?)
Anything making you queasy or sick: Just the lingering smell of bacon still!
Have you started to show yet: I get the 'Congratulations!' comments all the time now.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, reflective, but I am still speaking my mind more than I should.
Looking forward to: Finishing more of the nursery

33 weeks - Trying to get ready!
December 5, 2012 Brandon's dear Grandmother died like I mentioned in the crib post below. On top of it all - the two days leading to her death, while family was giving their good-bye's, I was at home sick with the stomach flu. :( Then Brandon had a touch of it too. No fun being sick! So we were finding out details about grandma in between throw up sessions. I took the flu the hardest, but it lasted just about a day. As a result of all the sickness and stress I believe it started some pre-term labor! So on December 5th, I was also sent to the hospital to be monitored.
I had just the tiniest bit of spotting right after I had a doctor visit and so when I approached the midwife about it they decided to do a quick check. One thing led to another and she discovered I was having mild contractions and was a centimeter dilated. Crazy right? So I was sent to St. Pete's to be monitored. Everything turned out to be ok - they gave me tons of water to drink, fed me and everything seemed to calm down. Then they didn't really have an answer for us other than it was most likely dehydration. Which is crazy since I drank a TON of water and Gatorade once I started feeling better the day before, so I guess I just needed some TLC!
We recovered quickly and after that little scare, both Brandon and I decided it was time to crack down on getting ready for this baby. We went out and bought a dresser and put up the crib! In between helping to plan for Grandma's funeral, I started to get the baby's room unpacked. I posted pictures of our crib adventure on the post below. I started to wash all those adorable baby clothes and have just about all of them put away in our beautiful dresser I got for just $50! Besides some of the room still being in boxes, the baby's room is functioning and ready for a baby! That's a relief. Now I need to start packing that hospital bag and making sure I have all the last minute items I need for a baby in the house. Eeck! Baby is coming soon!

How far along? 33 weeksTotal weight gain/loss: + 32 pounds
Pregnancy symptoms: I had a major bout of heartburn with some 'upchuck' and I started to choke while I was driving the other day! LOL - It came out of nowhere. Ever since then I have random violent heartburn attacks and then I am fine. Still peeing every 10 minutes. :)
Sleep: I have good and bad days - sometimes I have trouble breathing at night or Hunter is kicking to much and it keeps me up and other days I have so much running through my mind I end up just getting up at 4:30 in the morning.
Best moment this week: Getting a chance to see the Zoolights - It was very relaxing and was just what I was needing. Also making Christmas fudge - really helped with those Holiday candy cravings!
Miss Anything? Sleeping in until 8 in the morning.
Movement: He moves a little less, but when he is moving it is VERY noticeable. Strong little bugger. Food cravings: Hot cocoa and slurpee's still. Plus yummy Holiday cookies and candy. I was craving Pumpkin bars like mad so I made up two batches.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Just the lingering smell of bacon - but I am back to normal and enjoying bacon!
Have you started to show yet: I am getting the comments about the belly alll the time now. But everyone has been so nice - I had a lady just gushing over how cute I was at Target the other day. She really made my day!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Less silly, more reflective, crying more and a few mood swings.
Looking forward to: Getting the nursery done!
Stretch marks? Nothing still.
Wedding rings on or off? It is off - it had to go to the cleaners and the diamonds need to be tightened anyway, so I can't even wear it if I tried. Probably a good thing. It is pretty tight.
Labor Signs: Actually yes, but just for a day or so! They are completely gone now as we speak.
Belly Button in or out? Outie! It pokes through my shirt even with layers on.
Last Doctor Visit Update: The midwife Lynn discovered my dilation and was happy to hear that it turned out to be nothing. The day after the hospital visit they did a preterm labor test which came out negative. yay!

The Crib is up! Isn't it beautiful?
That crib just melts my heart. *Sigh* So adorable.
This is the crib Brandon's Grandma Brawner bought for our baby Hunter. She died on December 5th, 2012 - so we decided it was time to get the baby's room going and the crib was the first thing that needed to be put up! What a blessing to have our baby sleep in the crib his Great Grandmother so lovingly got for him. She was so excited! It will be a beautiful reminder of her.
We also were motivated to get it up since on the same day Grandma died (on December 5th) - I was in the hospital for a few hours due to some contractions and dilation. I had the stomach flu a few days before so we believe it was just the dehydration and the stress from the last couple days! Thank goodness everything is fine and Hunter is staying inside for now, but it sure did give us a scare! And now we are motivated more that ever to be ready for him. So we got to it.
I documented Brandon's crib experience:
Look! Brandon actually took the time to read the instructions! What a guy.
Almost done - I am bouncing around the room in excitement at this point.
Ta-Da! Look at my grizzly man so happy to have done a good job. He says it was 'Easy Peasy.' :)
This is roughly how I will set the crib up. Don't you love the crib skirt? Grandma Debbie was so nice to buy my green elephant crib skirt that I REALLY wanted from etsy. I needed something super special for it since I didn't want to put bumpers in the crib as recommended for SIDS.
Now we need to put together the stroller Audrie and my Mom got us and buy a dresser! Almost there. *whew*
